Osteo Yoga is specifically designed to strengthen the muscles and movement of the joints. Social networking, education, fun and functional exercise as well as relaxation are the components of this class.
All levels class, from beginners through intermediate, that incorporates elements of a traditional Vinyasa-style class but at a gentler pace, aiming to cultivate a more meditative experience while stretching and recharging the body. The use of props will be encouraged with a focus on proper alignment to allow students to comfortably achieve the postures based on their practice level; variations will be offered to accommodate a range of student abilities and to allow students to take their practice to the next level in their own time.
Mindfulness Yin Yoga
This class is relaxation focused and available to all ages and levels. We will be moving through each posture slowly and mindfully. We will be holding each posture for time, so there is a reduced focus on the depth of the pose. This will allow the body time to release any tension within the body so we can create more space. Come to each class in comfy attire that allows them room to move and breathe.
